The haircut is the most popular way of getting rid of split ends, but by certain home remedies, you can prevent further damage to the hair as well as these are also helpful in getting rid of split ends.
Beer
Beer supplies sugar and protein to damaged hair follicles, thereby controlling split ends. It also helps in adding volume to your hair, apart from working as an amazing conditioner. Make sure that beer you are going to apply on your hair it should be flat beer because a beer with fizz may damage your hair. After shampooing your hair, just wash your hair with beer and keep it for 2-3 minutes before washing it off.
Olive oil
Olive oil is one of the best home remedies, heat the oil and massage on your scalp. Keep it for an hour before washing.
Papaya
Papaya consists of folic acid. Folic acid helps in improving the blood circulation in your scalp and hair. Papaya helps in to keep your scalp and hair follicles moisturized, promoting hair growth and preventing split ends and frizzy hair. Mix yogurt and ripe papaya together to get a thick consistency. Apply it to a pack and let it dry for half an hour. Wash it off with cold water and gentle shampoo.
Fish Oil
The natural omega-3 and -6 oils in the fish oil is a good remedy for all your split-end. Mix a few fish oil capsules with coconut oil, then heat the mixture on low for about five minutes. Now give a gentle massage of your hair scalps for 10 minutes and lave for 1hour then wash with shampoo.
Cocoa butter
Cocoa butter is one of the best moisturizers for skin and hair. Cocoa butter is full with a high concentration of essential fatty acids that enables you to get smooth, shiny and flexible hair. Apply cocoa butter onto damp hair and massage in gently. Leave on for 30 minutes and wash off with natural shampoo.
Milk
Milk is full of proteins, vitamins, minerals, and fats and can strengthen the hair cells and make the hair shaft stronger and smoother as well as prevent split ends too. Use un-boiled cow/goat’s milk and mix in with water. Apply on the split ends and massage your scalp with the mixture. Cover the hair with a warm towel, leave on for 15-20 minutes and wash off with shampoo.
