How does one differentiate between a healthy person and an unhealthy person? Simple by using the basic parameter that is “how much fat is visible on your body?” any person who appears slim is considered to be fit just because there is not an extra layer of fat visible to the naked eye, on the other hand, a person who would just be carrying a little baby fat would be considered unhealthy. Folks allow me to give you shocking reality check “Not everyone who appears SLIM is HEALTHY”. Yes, you read it right just like Shakespeare said that “not everything that glitters is gold” likewise “not everyone who appears slim is healthy and who is fat is unhealthy”
These slim people of the group very conveniently consume anything and everything they desire and not even gain an inch. the reason could be their metabolism would great at work but for some even if they look at the food they gain weight (please don’t take this in literary terms!). A fat person would spend his major portion of life in dieting and exercising and still not be considered fit. Well, a study was conducted where it was found that thin people are more prone to some diseases and a major portion of thin people are unfit. Let’s see What health risk could a slim person face?
- SUBCANTOEOUS FAT
Subcantoeous fat is a layer of fat which is underneath the layered skin. This is not harmful to a certain amount. One could get rid of this fat by doing some aerobics and some cardio.
- Lethargic feeling

They could be prone to feel lethargic while working. They may feel sluggishness which could either be mental or physical. This feeling slow downs the working pace of the person.
- Diabetes
Thin people are prone to Type 2 diabetes. In this, a person body neither properly uses the glucose nor stores it. This happens when the body is unable to use or produce insulin for the body.
- Dead skin
Usually, thin people complain about their dull and dead skin. This is due to lack of exercise and healthy eating habits. If our body doesn’t receive the required components it directly impacts the skin.So the bottom line is that the thinnest member of the group may not be the healthiest whereas the fatty of the group may turn out to be healthiest.Article By: Arpita
