Being a mother is the most beautiful feeling in the world. Bringing a new life in this world transforms your life to 360 degrees. Before becoming a mother you were just a girl who was someone’s daughter, wife, and daughter-in-law (I know we have a lot more relations but I am mentioning only the most important ones!). After becoming a mother that girl changes into a woman. Holding your baby for the first time is the most indescribable feeling. In that one moment, you go through like thousands of emotions which you never felt before. With all these emotions and happy moments it also brings weight gain. There are many simple reasons behind gaining weight after pregnancy some of those are
- Our lifestyle completely changes after that.
- Increase in stress levels
- Change in eating patterns
- Sleep deprivation
- no exercise
After delivery, no one thinks about dieting and losing weight because we get so busy taking care of the little life and by the time we realize that we have gained a lot of extra pounds the train had already left the station. So to avoid this weight gain here are simple ways to avoid weight gain without any pain.
- Walking time

Post delivery, mothers are recommended complete bed rest especially when they had c-section. This is to avoid any pain or causing any other problem. When you start getting back to your old routine after bed rest then add a walk in it. Don’t walk a mile on the very first day. Rather, in the beginning, take baby steps and walk for 10min then gradually increase the time.
- Breast Feeding

Doctors recommend that baby should be breastfed for least 2-3months and then give them dairy products. You may not know that breastfeeding helps you lose approximately 600-800 calories. So till the time you feeding your baby your weight will be in control but make sure you do something when you stop so that weight does not increase rapidly.
- Sleep
Sleep deprivation is like mandatory thing in motherhood. After having a baby no mother gets a sufficient amount of sleep and this sleep deprivation causes craving of overeating. Avoid being sleep deprived take naps with your baby. This would also avoid your mood swings.
- Hydrate yourself

drink as much water as you can because staying dehydrated will not remove the toxins which will eventually cause weight gain. So drink water stay hydrated and flush out the toxins.
- Dance with your baby

What better exercise could be other than dancing? Dancing with your baby or partner or both could be the best way to exercise. This way you could have fun, have a laugh, watch prettiest smiles in the world and exercise all at the same time.
