Ever since its first edition in 1943, it has tried to bring to forefront American fashion which competes with the French Fashion industry. NY fashion week was the first to give a platform to the concept of fashion shows organized on specific days. It was called Press Week and intended to show off American fashion on a global level as well as to draw the attention of new fashion designers who couldn’t travel to Paris during WWII.
· Milan Fashion Week
Milan Fashion Week first happened in 1958 and quickly became one of the best fashion weeks in the world. In Rome, designers, stylists, influencers, and models are all focused through the glamorous lens of Italian fashion to become the centre of attention for a few days. Being a part of the Big Four fashion weeks, Milan Fashion Week is a massive affair that highlights all ranges of fashion trends in all fashionable cities.

MFW was first organized in 1958 and ever since then, it has witnessed notable fashion designers showcasing their styles. Milan Fashion Week is one among the Big Four fashion weeks that include New York, London and Paris.
· London Fashion Week
The first edition took place in 1984 and is organized by the British Fashion Council every two years in London. Along with Paris, Milan, and New York, it’s the center of the world’s fashion industry where everyone finds out about the latest trends. It was the first fashion week to broadcast the fashion shows live over the internet in 2012. · Madrid Fashion Week
Also known as Cibeles Fashion Week, Madrid Fashion Week has managed to reach across a greater international audience. It is a biannual event organized by the Madrid Exhibition and Trade Fair Association, IFEMA. It has gathered international models, celebrities and even politicians for the last 50 years. This fashion week has been successfully taking place in New Delhi for almost two decades and is the most important in India. It was first held in 2000 and, since then, has grown in fame, especially within India.
