Care of the cuticle is important
Nails and cuticles (outer layer of skin) are very delicate parts of your body. Everyday stress and all the work which is done by your hands impact them. That is why it is quite important to apply cuticle oil around your nails. It removes all the dryness of nails. You can also use glycerin in place of cuticle oil. To bring softness to the nails and hands, use glycerin twice a week before sleeping.
Trim your nails on time
Untidy and chipped nails create your bad impression on others. So trim your nails from time to time and keep them in the right shape. By filing them back and forth (seesaw motion) again and again. Remember, don’t file your nails hardly, as it removes the top layers of your nails, making them weak. This can be a major reason for chipping and cracking of nails.

After applying the nail polish, apply a coat of transparent nail paint on it, this will make your nail polish last longer. If you do not feel like applying coloured nail polish then you can only apply transparent nail paint.
The remover you use to remove nail paint can also be the reason for your nails to break. So use only good quality nail paint remover. Go through the label on the bottle and choose an acetone-free remover. Because acetone dries out the natural moisture of your nails, which leads to nail breakage.
Role of your diet on your nails
The most important thing is proper eating habits. When it comes to health, diet plays a very important role. For strong nails and soft hands, your diet should be rich in protein, vitamin B, vitamin E, fiber, and minerals. Fruits, green leafy vegetables, white meat and pulses are the best sources of these. Cleanse with Salt Water
Give them a salt bath to strengthen the nails.
Put four teaspoons of salt in a litre of water and soak your hands in it for 15 minutes.
Now dry your hands and apply glycerine on them.
Give Hands Chamomile Bath
If your nails are turning yellow, give them a chamomile bath, it is very helpful.
Soak dried chamomile flowers in two cups of water for 20 minutes and then soak your nails in it for 15-20 minutes.
Repeat this process thrice a week and you can also add lemon to this water for better results.
Use This Mixture Of Rose Water And Glycerin

To make your nails shiny, use a mixture of rose water, glycerin and hydrogen peroxide. In 40 ml Rose water add 10 grams of glycerin and 50 ml hydrogen peroxide. Now with the help of cotton, apply this mixture on your nails.
If you carry out household chores like cleaning, cooking etc., then it is better that you use gloves. This will protect your hands and nails from soap and chemicals.
