Start of the week and guess what are the words come out first (not good morning) “ Mondayyyyyyyy ” we literally scream this word in the morning. Well, this is nothing but another sign that shows that we are a victim of famous MONDAY BLUES. For those who don’t know what this is, it is nothing where you are annoyed just because its Monday and you have to go back to work.
Did you ever thought that we could actually avoid these Monday blues and actually start the week with something positive. I think you didn’t. So I am here to share my point of view (actually how I avoid my Monday blues) to avoid this serious disease with some simple steps:
- Try waking up with a smile
Okay I know you would say that’s very difficult because we all love to sleep like a panda, but you have to wake so try with a smile (imagine you are in Vegas). The easiest way to see the person you love the most in the morning you would automatically smile.
- Play your favorite high beat songs
Instead of hearing depressing news in the morning listen to your favorite songs. This would at least make you 10% happy.
- Nach Meri Jaan
While you take out your clothes from the closet or prepare your things just dance a bit. Its also scientifically proven that dancing helps you lighten your mood so nach meri jaan. - Get ready while dancing
Stop yourself dancing in the shower otherwise; you might break your hand or any other bone. When you come out of shower dance again while getting ready or just move a bit.
- Hug or kiss your favorite one
Usually, we are late in the mornings that we just say bye and leave the house. So instead of just saying bye hug or kiss your mom, wife or children. This would literally make your day and this too.
- Traveling
Okay, traveling is hectic I understand but try to stay positive in spite of all odds.
- Greet everyone with a smile
When you reached greet everyone (office guard too) even if they don’t respond. Be positive and spread positivity.
- Try avoiding dull thoughts
We are vulnerable to negative thoughts just try avoiding them. If one pops up just divert to happy ones.
- Reason to smile
On your desk have something that brings a smile to your face.
- Start work with a smile
When you finally open your laptop to work have a smile. This would not change your work but at least you would smile once.
Guys no matter what your day brings but if you start your day with positivity and happy thoughts you would attract it. There is saying also “you attract what you think” so think happy and fight with your Monday blues.
