Ok. If you ask me as a normal mother. My skin at the feet is the most neglected. I keep on walking the entire day in my house running after my daughter most of the time without a slipper. So, what I get are hopelessly bad cracked heels. The cracked heels are a common problem for several people. Though we all like some great pedicure sessions, it is not
always that each one is lucky enough to have the same time. So, here are some simple DIY skincare remedies that can make you take care of your cracked heels.
Tip 1: We all have Vaseline at home. It is our one-stop way of dealing with cuts and bruises. Next time all you need to do is wash your feet with lukewarm water and dry. Apply some Vaseline on the cracked heels. Wear socks and get to bed. Within like 2-3 days you will see a change in the texture of the skin on your feet is becoming smooth and soft.
Tip 2: Mix rosewater and glycerin and you will be amazed. The glycerin adds the needed nourishment to the cracked heels and rose water repairs and soothes any irritation on the skin.
Tip 3: Make use of banana, well you would feel a little gross. But, this works great. Just mash up a banana and apply the pulp on the cracked heels. Keep it for 15 minutes and wash off with lukewarm water. Try this for about a week and you will get smoother heels.
Tip 4: Mix apple cider vinegar and water to dip your feet for 20 minutes. The use of apple cider vinegar makes you get rid of the dead skin easily and makes the cracked heels softer.

Tip 6: Dip your feet in a mixture of warm water and honey. Soak your feet for about 20 minutes. Scrub gently to get soft and supple feet. Honey has a natural antiseptic that helps heal cracked feet very fast.
Tip 7: Dip your feet in lukewarm water for about 15 minutes. Pat dry and apply aloe vera gel on the feet. Wear socks and leave the gel overnight. Try this for 2 weeks and you will get all new smoother and softer heels. The use of aloe vera on heels will heal the cracks as it is known to increase the collagen synthesis, which soothes dry skin.
