1. Amanda Bynes
It is really annoying to see the rising star crashing so badly and we even do not know what will happen to them if no help is given to them. Amanda Bynes had a bright career ahead of her but she started to get typecasted. She was always considered as the comic relief which she did not like after she started her career with her breakout child sketch comedy, The Amanda Show. People just expected her to be a funny girl. There is a change in situations and people but Amanda took a turn for the worst overnight.
Amanda Bynes in 2014 was placed on psychiatric hold at a hospital after acting erratic in public. Later she accused her father of abuse but later reconciled her statement. Later she said that her brain was implanted with a microchip and that is why she accused her father. In one of the instances, she also started a fire in her driveway and possibly doused her dog in gasoline. Besides, she also added some odd tweets aimed at some pretty famous celebrities.
She screamed for help after her breakdown and this was really sad. However, she admitted to have bipolar disorder as well as manic depression. After having respite from social media, she enrolled as a student at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising Los Ageles. She has a great hope that probably one day will come back in her acting career.
2. Mel Gibson
One of the biggest Hollywood stars, Mel Gibson commanded per-movie salaries that still rival some of the biggest deals. In 1998, he earned over $20 million for Lethal Weapon 4 and later directed the controversial blockbuster The Passion of the Christ. In the mid-2000s, he was caught up in the history of alcohol when an offensive rant was recorded during a DUI stop and includes anti-Semitic and sexist remarks.
Later after four years, as he was beginning to recover from his career and Gibson recording appeared online. This includes another round of offensive, racist remarks all aimed aggressively at his ex-wife. William Morris Endeavor, the talent agency immediately dropped him following the tape’s release leaving Gibson’s career appearing unsalvageable. Thus he is now experiencing a bit of comeback this year having to direct the critically acclaimed war drama, Hacksaw Ridge.
3. Charlie Sheen
Charlie Sheen had a downfall from all his accounts in drugs, overdoses, and violence and this was expected two decades back. His history of unapologetic partying and use of the drug has led to at least the overdose and multiple stays in a rehabilitation center. His Hollywood career was ultimately destroyed due to his behavior as the lead of Two and a Half Men.
With another stint in rehab, Two and a Half Men creator Chuck Lorre had enough and he fired Sheen from the show. This finally resulted to meltdown of epic proportions on the part of Shene where he aimed some anti-Semitic remarks Lorre’s way and did a series of unusual interviews.
4. Lindsay Lohan
Lindsay Lohan was fully competent and talented to become one of Hollywood’s biggest stars by Means Girls and Herbie that was fully loaded in the mid-2000s. During the filming of Mean Girls’, Lohan was only 17 years old and already displayed a strong dedication to his work. But she indulged in drugs, arrests, and partying that spoiled her career less than four years after the Mean Girls high-water mark.
From 2007, in an Entertainment Weekly Article, her fans came to know how her career had spoiled. As per one of the studio heads, she has to pay to a studio to get herself back to the movie. As per another head, films of her are difficult to open. Working with her is really difficult. In such a case, it will be difficult for her to get back to work.
5. Anthony Weiner
You should know how to tweet properly on Twitter, or else it can be dangerous. Anthony Weiner was the first youngest person to win a New York City council seat. He accidentally posted a picture to his twitter wall of a woman he was sexting online. This changed his career.
He claimed that his account was hacked. The statement he made was totally lying and liars never prosper. In 2011, Weiner resigned from congress admitting that for years he had been exchanging photos with the woman.

6. Robert Downey Jr.
Robert Downey Jr. was a frontman and is remembered for his Marvel film that has been made in the past decade. He is well known for his huge blockbuster role as Tony Stark in the film Iron Man and was one of the highest-paid actors in the business. Since the mid-2000s, he had been doing pretty well and was successful as a young guy in the entertainment industry. He was famous for his Saturday Night Live and the film Chaplin. Later he started to use substances to the extreme.
He was used to consuming these toxic devices and could not arrive at rehearsals in time. Hence, he was not hired. He landed in prison for three years and when he got out he remained sober. He did not look back on his old life ever after. It is good to see him happy after his blockbusters movies like Iron Man and Sherlock Holmes.
7. Drew Barrymore
Drew Barrymore was a young child star with her performance in the classic ET the Extra-Terrestrial. She was much troubled from the very young age of 13. She was digging into substances and made to commit suicide. At the tender age of 9, she had started drinking and had been in rehab two times before 15 years. She could get proper guidance in her childhood and had a broken relationship with her mother. She was found late on the sets and got a bad reputation in Hollywood. Time was really tough for her and in her early 20s she cleaned her act and got a second chance to prove herself in Hollywood.
She got her roles in movies like Scream, The Wedding Singer and Never Been Kissed. She seems to have a laid-back lifestyle for a celebrity but we surely admire her for the work she is involved in now.
8. Hulk Hogan
Terry Bolea well known as Hulk Hogan was a pretty stand-up guy. His fans adored him for being an American wrestler and he was taking good care of his family. Hulk Hogan has gotten a nasty divorce, slept with his best friend’s wife, helps his son out of various legal matters since his days of wrestling. All this brought his website down and this was secretly funded by a billionaire. He was also caught on the camera throwing around racial slurs.
Hogan realized his mistake and publicly came forward and apologized. It is really unbelievable? He has since then been fired and pushed away from World Wrestling Entertainment and this was really a great blow to him. He now has been totally washed-up, ex-television personality with a racial problem that has probably no chance of ever redeeming himself in Hollywood or anywhere else.
9. Azealia Banks
Azealia Banks had made a popular hit ‘222’ breaking charts and received widespread radio play. She is now popular with her problematic social media presence than her musical skills. After the release of her second album in 2016, she made horrible remarks about ‘One Direction” member Zayan Malik, and called him a “fa***t” and a “curry-scented n***a”. This took both a racist and a homophobic demeanor.
Her account was canceled by twitter and her UK booking agency dropped her. As a result, she made tearful non-apologies online that fell on deaf ears. She lost many of her fans but still, she has not stopped with her offensive posts.

10. Roseanne Barr
Roseanne Barr was known as the ultimate Mama due to her role in “Roseanne”, a late 80s sitcom that ran for 9 seasons. Throughout the 90s she was a successful stand-up comedian and was popular due to the sitcom and was revived in 2018 on ABC. Of course, this was not meant to continue. In 2018, she made some tweets that deemed many racists that resulted in her fans hating her. She was fired from her recently revived show.
After the return of “Roseanne”, she tweeted and attacked the then US President Barack Obama’s senior advisor Valerie Jarrett. She called her a cross between a Muslim Brotherhood member and “Planet Of The Apes” monkey. Later she defended herself violently stating that it was just a bad joke, but her fans were not convinced at all. Hence, she has been canceled with no prospects of recovering from her actions.
