Feet are a part of skincare that we usually do not take care of much. If you think the skincare is complete without treating your feet, then you are certainly wrong. Treating your feet the right way can make you feel more confident and presentable.
Here are a few simple home remedies that can get you to get your feet looking healthy and pretty.
Use Natural Ingredients:
Always make use of natural ingredients to soak your feet when they feel tired and exhausted. After a long day at work, it is not just the body that feels tired but also the feet that start aching. So, when this happens all you need to do is to start pampering them. Sometimes you would like to splurge on an expensive pedicure. But, instead of that soak your feet in natural ingredients like rose water, lemon, chamomile water, etc to relax them. All you need to do is add some lukewarm water in a bucket and mix these ingredients. Slowly dip your feet into the water, and keep it soaking in there for about 5-10 minutes. Using a regular foot file, give your feet a nice scrub to do away with the dead cells.
Get Even Skin Tone:
An uneven skin tone is because of the different levels of exposure to sunlight. If you think only a dermatologist can save you then you are wrong. All you need to do is to use natural ingredients like some milk, salt and lemon juice in a paste. Heat the milk and add some lemon juice and a pinch of salt. Mix all the ingredients well and apply to the feet. Massage your feet with the mixture gets blended into your skin. Keep the mixture on for 15-20 minutes and wash it off with lukewarm water.
Give Some Moisturizer:
When you talk about moisturizing what can be better than honey. Honey is a great moisturizer and has amazing antibacterial properties that help the feet to heal fast. All you need to do is to take some natural honey or processed honey. Take a scoop of honey and mix it into a bucket of warm water. Soak in the bucket for 20-30 minutes. Pat your feet dry using a towel.
Work for Smooth Feet:
Getting smooth feet is easy. All you need to use is olive oil. The olive oil is a great moisturizing agent that leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth. But, there is a trick of using the olive oil. Soak a ball of cotton in a bowl of olive oil. Now, use this cotton ball to a massage for 20-25 minutes in circular motions. Without taking the oil off cover your feet with socks to soak the oil up for about an hour. Now, wash your feet with lukewarm water.
